There was much hilarity as guests turned up in full costume for the Anglican Church's Mamma Mia Sing-a-Long on Friday evening.  The hall rocked to some of Abba's best known songs such as Waterloo, Dancing Queen, and Money, Money, Money.  Supper and drinks were served during the film thanks to the culinary efforts of Georgie Insull and Tracy Peneranda.  The event raised over 500 euro and the next in the Sing-a-Long series will be Mary Poppins early in the New Year.

Members of Nomads went along recently to the Palma Charity Amaticia to present a cheque for 1000 euros following their recent performance of Shirley Valentine at the Anglican Church. Amaticia works with physically and handicapped youngsters at their newly converted premises in Palma. The performance which was a sell out had been sponsored by the Anglican Church, Majorca Daily Bulletin and Sloane Helicopters. Star of the show, Nicki Baylis who played Shirley Valentine said, "It took hours and hours learning my lines but to know that these children are going to benefit from Nomad's hard work was really worth it."
