Over the coming weeks we will put a
calendar on this page so that you can see events and services
along with times and dates. If you have anything that you think
would be appropriate to add to the calendar then please send an
email to
anglicanpalma@gmail.com and we will look into adding it.
in Mallorca
It was the first time that the Anglican
Church had held a May Fair. The sun shone and after a lot of
hard work by the organisers nearly 2000 euros was raised towards
the church's work on Majorca.
Organiser Lynn Pickford said, "It was an experiment that worked!
And we raised more than twice the amount that I could have hoped
for. People worked so hard and there was a lovely atmosphere."
There was much hilarity as guests turned up in full
costume for the Anglican Church's Mamma Mia Sing-a-Long
on Friday evening. The hall rocked to some of Abba's
best known songs such as Waterloo, Dancing Queen, and
Money, Money, Money. Supper and drinks were served
during the film thanks to the culinary efforts of
Georgie Insull and Tracy Peneranda. The event raised
over 500 euro and the next in the Sing-a-Long series
will be Mary Poppins early in the New Year.
