Chaplaincies in the Diocese in Europe are entirely self
supporting and St Andrew’s is very grateful for the
financial support it receives from people in the UK and
elsewhere.
We exist to worship God and our mission is to channel
his love; we do the latter through at least four
ministries:-
1. Our
Prayers
– on our weekly notice sheet we have a list of people
whom we hold before God.
2. Praying
for each other and sharing God’s peace
Each Sunday people respond to the opportunity to be
prayed with after they have received Holy Communion.
This ministry is a very simple outward expression that
God is interested in ALL our concerns.
3. Help for
Heroes
Groups of servicemen wounded in
Afghanistan come to
Mallorca with their families for a holiday.
St Andrew’s hosts a lunch for each group and also pays
for an outing.
4. St
Andrew’s Community Care
St Andrew’s maintains and makes available equipment such
as wheelchairs and walking aids to anyone in the local
community who is in need of them. This is a valued piece
of ministry to the community.
In addition to this, it is Chaplaincy policy that 10% of
our income is given away each year to
Third World
development and International and local charities.
The ministry of St Andrew’s is worth supporting; if
you pay tax in the UK please Gift Aid your donation so
that the church can take advantage of the tax concession
made by the Chancellor. A Gift Aid form is
